Thanks to the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Jump we learn that Jimbei , Knight of the sea, said Marco , also called Marco the Phoenix because of her powers and Commander of the 1st Division of the fleet of whitebeard, Sakazuki, also known as Admiral Akainu , the current Navy, and finally the man most loved by fans of the series One Piece, Edward Newgate, better known as Whitebeard , are playable characters in One Piece: Burning Blood .

These four heroes are in addition to other previously announced characters, namely: Boa Hancock, Nami, Nico Robin, Panda, Monkey d. Luffy, Portgas d. Ace, Sabo, Donquixote Doflamingo, Crocodile, Enel, Trafalgar Law, Bartholomew, Smoker, Franky, X Drake, Roronoa Zoro, Kuzan, Brook, Hawkins Kid, Sanji, Usopp, and Tony Tony Chopper/Issho Fujitora.
