As promised yesterday, Insomniac Games today announced Song of the Deep , an action-adventure-style 2D with metroidvania marina.

The game will follow a girl in search of her missing father through underwater landscapes, prompting players to explore and use their skills to overcome obstacles that will arise on the path. You can gain new skills and use those at its disposal to access new areas or get surprising combinations. The game is set for release this summer on Xbox One .
