Talking to the British Daily Express site, Sam Lake of Remedy Entertainment revealed that some ideas tailored-but-unused for Alan Wake were reused to inspire parts of the plot of Quantum Break .

Lake explains that initially Alan Wake was designed with a more fragmented then than what we saw, and the narrative was composed of a set of novels written by Alan; one of these was a story with explicit references to quantum physics, particle accelerators and multimondi.

Some of these ideas were even used in an episode of Night Springs , the TV series that airs on TV we encounter in Alan Wake , entitled " quantum suicide" , but ended up inspiring part of the fascinating storyline of Quantum Break .

Please note that the new work by Sam Lake and shipmates, typified by a plot loaded with mystery and full of twists and turns Hollywood's nature and in which the gameplay complements sequences recited by actors in the flesh, is waiting for the April 5.
