The Director of development at DICE Dan Vaderlind announced on Twitter that, now that the Swedish team has released Star Wars: Battlefront , it's time to move on to the next project: the new Battlefield. This confirms that the next effort to say will be Battlefield 5 , unless they decide to call it differently; probably still won't arrive before the end of 2017, so we'll have to wait a lot before having the first official news.
