Microsoft announced today that from 22 December to 7 January will take place on the Games Store Countdown , a new wave of online discounts defined as " the biggest sale of digital games of the year ", although the term "big" refers to the number of games on offer rather than to the amount of rebates themselves.

The event will offer more than 200 discounted games (with an additional 10% discount for Gold members) offered daily from 22, a countdown that will lead us up to the new year continuing until 7 January.
