We inform you that this morning Microsoft released the Xbox Accessories app on the App Store on Xbox One; the app allows us to remap all the controls of the pad by interchanging buttons, selecting levers and trigger sensitivity by adjusting the intensity of the engines rumble and also the brightness of the Xbox button.

Unlike declared earlier by Microsoft, though, it seems that the app works only with the Elite Controllers, because by testing it with a normal pad allows you to create new configurations but then there seems to be no way to activate them within games. This is probably a first version of the app subject to improvements, even side-by-side mode operation is not optimal with commands that end up off the screen.

We are waiting for more information from Microsoft, but if you want to try it in the meantime tweakage, found among the novelties on the App store in the console.
