Microsoft has announced that from now on all Xbox owners One and the Windows app 10 will participate in group chat from 12 users, instead of the maximum of 8 that we had so far. This feature was available only for testers of the new Xbox Experience, but with an update to Xbox Live server is now available to all without the need to refresh the console or app.

Meanwhile continues testing the new dashboard waiting for November: new features like animated avatars, merging into a single app and Game DVR and Upload party text chat are being release to testers, while in the next few days the test phase will be extended to additional participants.
