Square Enix and Io Interactive have announced that Hitman in digital version will be released during the month of January 2016 and not the 8 December, as stated previously. " These additional months will allow us to insert more content at the launch of the game than we had initially planned, followed by a higher frequency of updates that will create a better game for everyone. And finally this is our goal! " said Io Interactive in a post on his official blog.

The developers have also published an image, which you can see at the bottom of the news, which compares the isometric map mission Paris-The Showstopper of a Hitman with the largest level of Hitman: Absolution — Streets of Hope . We can see how the new Hitman is directed to be actually the largest chapter of the series.
