Dominate the battlefield with the force as your ally
Like many fans, the senior producer Jamie Keen waited with trepidation the first gameplay trailer of how the assault on Hoth walkers, presented at the last E3. Knowing the surprises in store for players, has closely observed their reactions to each one.
The trailer ends with the entrance onto the scene of Darth Vader himself, ready to crush the rebels. Dominating the battle in the shade of a huge AT-AT, the evil Dark Lord of the Sith seems unstoppable.
But here comes Luke Skywalker. Using heavy attacks and pushing force to control groups of enemies, Luke no chance to imperial soldiers. Then he rails against Vader, their Lightsabers cross ... and ends up on the trailer, leaving room for the imagination.
"It was great to observe the reactions of the fans on arrival at the scene of Luke. Are emotions that we share, too. A duel between Luke and Vader is something that never leaves you cold, "says Jamie Keen.
Luke Skywalker is just one of the playable heroes of Star Wars Battlefront â„¢ â„¢ and the fans of Star Wars â„¢ will recognize for his "look", already seen in Star Wars : Episode VI-return of the Jedi â„¢: dark suits, right hand covered by a glove and the Green lightsaber which was created by itself. Luke is a fictional character, immense powers acrobatic and affinity with the force, but in a way it is still a beginner. Jamie Keen explains how the powers and Luke movements reflect the overall level of his training as a Jedi:
"His is a regular jump of bio-mechanical type, but partly boosted by the force. You can also see in the movies, for example when jumping off the graphite shaft or during training on Dagobah. "
Luke has many different attacks, including a wide lightsaber sweep that proves effective against large groups of enemies. The thrust is a perfect move to hit targets farther and fly them away while shooting with the sword lets you use force to mount a lightning attack.
To use Luke you must first find its strengthening. Remember that you can assume the role of heroes or villains for a limited time, because your health will decline constantly. Killing enemies, however, you can increase the duration of use and the character's health.
"A player of intermediate ability can use a hero or a villain for about two minutes," said Keen. "But eliminating enough enemies, minutes can rise to five. It is theoretically possible to use Luke Skywalker for the duration of the match, although it is extremely unlikely. But nobody forbids trying! "
