The announcement of 4 Rock Band , Harmonix had so far spoken of compatibility with old tools and downloadable songs of previous editions and also showed the gameplay, but so far we didn't know how it would unfold the career mode, playable alone or with friends in local or online, the game. Today the developer deals with the topic, explaining that his career will simulate the path of rise of a band, allowing us even choose the direction.

The game will begin as musicians from a small local band, who from small venues to the city will become increasingly popular: this path will not preset, but it's up to us to decide in which direction to go. Together in concert there will be a series of choices that we will have to decide not only the type of music to be played but also the type of bands that we want to be: indie and niche? Pop superstar? Fashion idols? It's up to us to decide, so how will we choose our manager that could lead us to stylistic decisions how to cut hair to all members of the band to be more trendy.

Many of the situations that will be proposed will inspiration from real stories experienced by members of the development team, almost all seasoned musicians, and also introduce characters or singular moments. Harmonix stresses though as there will be no "bad choices": every decision we make will dictate the type of songs and concerts where we're going, but the experience will still be epic and satisfying in every case.

And of course will also return the personalization component of the band, both in appearance and in clothing: the developers promise from this point of view, a greater level of detail thanks to the increased power of the new consoles.
