Microsoft, in an interview at Gamer portal, confirmed through a spokesman that his Rise of the Tomb Raider will include the ability to compete with our friends thus extending the single-player campaign.

The news comes following an article by Official Xbox Magazine that had completely ruled out the presence of any kind of multiplayer, after developers had decided to delete it from the experience of the game, implying that had previously been considered its inclusion.

With this last statement so we know that Rise of the Tomb Raider will not have the classic competitive multiplayer, but it will remain a kind of comparing players to certain challenges similar to what has already been seen in other titles. We just have to wait for more details.
