It is so with every new Halo: fans are wondering if finally you will be shown the face of John-117, the hero in the case of Master Chief. It seems though that this will not happen in either Halo 5: Guardians ; questioned about the site Game Rant , the creative director of the game Tim Longo said definitively that the title will not see the face of the hero.

And probably not see him even in the future: Bungie wanted to purposely make Master Chief a "faceless hero" to allow any player to impersonarvisi better, and 343 Industries is likely to want to keep that going. He's now created a second hero from a more human face, i.e. the agent Locke, and this will have to suffice at the moment.
