There are several elements that lead us to think this: first, Xbox One is already extremely quiet, then the hint to a quieter console doesn't make much sense. Secondly, the removal of the Blu-ray player wouldn't be what would a miniaturization of the console, indeed it would be very possible to create a slim console that includes a disk; what allows reducing the size of the console is the miniaturization of components, mainly the internal chip that adopting technologies to an inferior number of NMS would also heat less and therefore require less space for fans and heat dissipation. Typically, when this type of product components, if any news well in advance because the manufacturers themselves leave leaked information: it is difficult to think that Microsoft may have ready a new console without anything like that has already leaked.
