Turn 10 illustrates the functionality of Forza Motorsport 6 Mods

After having mentioned during Gamescom, Turn 10 back today to tell us about the new feature "Mods" of Forza Motorsport 6 , explaining in more detail what it is. Mods are nothing more than additional modifiers that can activate both during the campaign and in Free race mode and are not usable in multiplayer; think of something similar to Halo skulls, or even the Perks of Horizon Force 2 .

These will not be available immediately, we will have the opportunity to win the game by leveling up or unlock them using in-game currency, and will be of three different types:

Give (Dare): this Mod will allow players to introduce competing challenges to test their skills, and of course win races that have such active Mod will earn extra credit and experience. In a race only one can be active at a time, Give Mod and some examples can be the Mod which decreases of 8% auto power, what forces us to use the clutch and manual transmission what sees us start last on the grid.

Crew : these mods provide specific benefits to the player during the race, and therefore do not offer rewards. Between mods like this are what decreases by 7% the weight of the vehicle while increasing 3% of road holding, or what increases by 20% more stopping power and 5% of the power car.

Boost -Boost class Mod finally gives players specific benefits or an increase of guadagnabili experience points but may be used only once, after which they are removed. For example we find what gives 3,000 credits for each insertion in perfect trail of an opponent, or disable all collisions on the first lap of a race or what allows us to earn 60% more credits in the race.
