One of the main threads of this Fallout 4 concerned precisely the fate which would meet our four-legged companion in case of encounters with enemies. Today the d irector Todd Howard wanted to reassure fans, announcing that " Dogmeat", our dog, will not die in the course of the game.

However, this does not mean that we can throw in the worst situations for Dogmeat which we will meet and expect that I get out unscathed. Howard tells us that our dog will be injured to such an extent that it is unable to support us in the fight.
