After the surprise announcement of the backwards compatibility of Xbox One, we order and clarity to this new and long-awaited feature: backwards compatibility will be available from the next few hours to members of the Xbox preview programme One, which can however test it on a limited number of games: find a complete list in this page (or here for the textual list ).

In the course of the year will then be added to other titles, until you reach at least 100 games backwards compatible by the end of 2016; If you want your say on what games should be included before, you can do so on this page of the Xbox Site Feedback.

But how does the backwards compatibility? It's very simple: If you had purchased digital games on Xbox 360, in the compatibility list will appear automatically in the games area purchased by Xbox One, the one to the right of the games installed, ready to be downloaded.  If you have any games on disk (always clearly belonging to the compatibility list), you can just insert the disk into the drive of the console to release download.

For now it is not yet possible to test this feature, but we expect it to be unlocked soon so we can make quality emulation!
