Clarification on Halo 5 from 343 Industries: co-op with Gold, in-engine graphics and split-screen

After the details on Halo 5: Guardians released by Game Informer, 343 Industries is wanted on various information on the magazine, beginning with the grind of the co-op members Live free Silver. In a post published on Halo Waypoint, Josh Holmes wanted to clarify that this news was given because of a misunderstanding with Game Informer and that, in fact, even the co-op will take Live Gold subscription. Holmes has explained that 343 and Microsoft intend to try the multiplayer mode-is that cooperative-play Silver users, and that is why the game has a Xbox Live Gold code from 14 days.

Passing to the other, instead, Frank O'Connor of 343 intervened on the NeoGAF forums explaining that all the images of the game published by the magazine are captured in-engine, then representative of the graphic quality of the title; Similarly, he promised at E3 will be shown only in-engine materials and in-game.

As for the matter of split-screen absent in the game, O'Connor explained that this choice was made because developers have thought the game-and not only the design but also the entire "simulation", i.e. parts of physics and AI-to shoot only at 60 fps. The split-screen would not maintain a similar frame-rate, and is therefore sacrificed.

For now it's all about one of the most anticipated titles of E3: refer to the coming days for more news!
