Rod Fergusson, head of studio Black Tusk, announced in a short film that the study undertaken on the new Gears of War changed its name now calling themselves The Coalition . According to Fergusson, the choice of this name very tip to fans of GoW (the coalition of Organized Governments has key role in saga of Gear of War) and the desire of those developers to ensure that whenever you think of the study think Gears and vice versa, as already happens with/Turn10 Force and Halo/343 Industries. But there is also another reason: the new name sums up the nature of the study, a "coalition" of certain developers in advancing a grandiose project.

The name change and the reasons cited by Fergusson can only hope to fans of Gears of War , because the title seems to be not only in good hands but also in the middle of a big project that we think may last over the years; Furthermore, the announcement of the new name of the studio so close to E3 can only mean that Fergusson and his will be on stage to show us their creature.
