Konami announced today via Facebook a new unpublished project titled Metal Gear Solid: The 1984 Collection , together with the image you see at the bottom of this news and as it takes issue with the following message: "take a step back to the 80 's with our collection of Metal Gear Solid coming very soon! Stay tuned! ".

We currently do not have more information about this approach, although fans speculate it may be a remastered collection or otherwise revised of the earliest chapters of the saga (it should be noted, however, that the year 1984 coincided with the time setting of Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain ).

It is curious, then, to note that the image was published for the occasion in a graphic style very similar to the logo of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon .

It is still yet to verify what they are in fact: might not even be a game but a simple line of clothing or gadgets. As soon as we know more we will update as always.
