Konami has made it clear through their official Japanese site Metal Gear Online, the multiplayer portion of Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain , will support games for up to 16 players on Xbox-related One and 12 on PS4 Xbox 360 . MGO will arrive at the game's launch and will feature two teams clashing on fields of battle online; the development of this part of the game is developed by Konami Los Angeles Studio (formerly known as Kojima Productions Los Angeles ), separately from the main title.
