DEUS EX: MANKIND DIVIDED in 2029, takes place two years after the events of HUMAN REVOLUTION and the infamous accident at Panchaea that caused the death of millions of people at the hands of those who had installed the upgrades. This event has created a huge gap between those who have power, and those who did not. In this devastating riot there are various factions seeking to manipulate humanity distorting public opinion on the topic of power-ups to promote their design and hide the truth about what really happened.
When the social and political chaos reaches its climax, the anti-terrorist agent super-powered Adam Jensen re-enters into action. Reinforced by new power ups which increase its formidable strategic arsenal, Jensen will visit several new locations to discover the truth hidden beneath new plots and conspiracies.
