After a series of rumors and clues which made the split between Konami and Kojima Productions, now comes confirmation from a press release released by Konami in which it was announced that the company will continue to focus on developing Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain , but in fact it is already thinking about a new series set in the world of Metal Gear; Konami has recently put online some job announcements to hire skilled programmers and outfall in future productions related to the already well-known brand, effectively confirming that Kojima Productions you will cover more of the series.

We hope to soon have more official clarifications on what's going on between Konami and Kojima Productions, and on what will be the fate of Hideo Kojima and his team after the development of Metal Gear Solid v: The Phantom Pain .
