The Xbox 360 Edition of World of Tanks is having huge success among fans of tanks and war games in General; the title has exceeded 5 million downloads quickly becoming emblematic of the free-to-play old-gen console. All this led the developer Wargaming to think a version of the game for Xbox One: it is being worked on World of Tanks for Xbox One , expected arrival in 2015.

The title in question will support cross-platform play with Xbox 360: This means that Xbox 360 players can play on the same battlefields of those in possession of a copy for the Xbox One. Its progress is linked to your Xbox Live account, so if you're going to go to the Xbox One of all vehicles, the experience, the gold and the various objects will be transferred to the latter and vice versa.

You can then play on both Xbox 360 and Xbox One with the same profile indifferent in pursuing their own progress.
