Warner Bros. announced that the Xbox 360 version of PS3 Mortal Kombat X is not under development at Netherealm Studios, the software house responsible for the Xbox version One game, PS4 but at High Voltage Software. The decision to give up the old-gen version of the game at High Voltage has been taken to permit the Netherealm to focus 100% on the version dedicated to current generation consoles.

It also seems increasingly likely that the game will feature a microtransaction system for purchase of game items. Concerning this, we should have more details in the near future.

Mortal Kombat X will be released in stores on April 14.
