Resident Evil Revelations 2: microtransaction system information

The Spanish site MundoGamers had the opportunity to chat with the producer of Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Michiteru Okabe, and one of the most interesting topics addressed was that of microtransactions.

Okabe confirmed that the game will have a system of microtransactions for both the campaign and the Raid mode ( Assault ); with regard to the second mode, you cannot spend real money to buy weapons, skills and "crystals of life", which allow you to return to life if he is killed. Okabe held to specify, however, that the same objects will be obtainable by playing and winning goals, as is often the case for spending real money will serve as a "shortcut" for lazy users.

The interesting thing-and that is already causing threads on the web-however on the respawn system in countryside: Okabe explained that, in various missions, checkpoints are placed only at the beginning of each mission/chapter, whereby if a mission lasts 20 minutes and you die at minute 18th centuries, we must start again from the beginning. However, this can be solved by spending of "crystals of life" (available during the game) or paying real money: both systems will allow us to restart the mission from exactly where we were dead, without any penalty.

Obviously the impact of this mechanism will depend on how hard it is to get in the game these crystals, but certainly does reflect the developers ' choice: rather than enter "instant respawn" in an easier dedicated players less patients, was added as an option to pay or earn with the tasks that are required to retrieve the crystals of life.

Clearly Okabe insists-and probably is right-the fact that if someone doesn't want to use microtransactions, you can safely ignore them anyway and play the title without any problems, but it is likely that this will be a feature that will discuss. And what do you think?
