The Xbox One designer and creator of Xbox Live, Boyd Multerer, leaves Microsoft
Multerer began to cooperate with Microsoft in 1994, then moved to a real job full time in 1997. In 2000 he founded the development team that oversaw the creation of Xbox Live, the now famous and utilizzatissimo online service Xbox platforms, becoming the first user to connect to the system when it was launched in 2002.
Subsequently, in 2004 Multerer ceased to follow Xbox Live to form and lead a new Microsoft Project whose goal was to make the game console more accessible to independent developers: his efforts gave rise to the XNA programming language and the creation of the Indie section on Xbox 360.
Multerer was also one of the architects of the architectural design of the new Xbox One, creating a console consists of three operating systems that allow multitasking between games, applications and dash navigation. In short, one of the people who have contributed to the growth of the Xbox in the last dozen years: I salute you and wishing you a good luck for his new business adventures.
