The Witcher 3: Huntress Chambers confirmed as the second playable character

With the trailer released ten days ago, CD Projekt RED announced that in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt there would be a second playable character but had not clarified what was among those present in the video. Today the Polish developer back on topic by explaining that in addition to be able to check Geralt in the game also Chambers, the white-haired girl the protagonist claimed to possess "the blood of the ancients".

The girl is now described as "l a descendant of an ancient elven lineage, a powerful living weapon able both to bring benefit and destroy the entire world ". Chambers is the main goal of the Wild Hunt, the enemies whom Geralt will give chase, and in the novels of The Witcher is portrayed as a sort of stepdaughter for the protagonist, who taught her the most effective hunting techniques to monsters.

Developers explain that introduce Chambers will tell part of the story from his point of view, something of which the game will benefit enormously; also the gameplay is more varied, since she will not have the same features and set of moves of Strigo. CD Projekt RED has finally stated that this will be the last game in the series about Geralt of Rivia, while the next will have other protagonists. Maybe just Chambers itself?

Finally, we leave you with a set of new images of the game, some of which show us the new co-star (note that in which appears at a young age, next to Geralt), remembering that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is coming out for the Xbox One next 19 May.
