Rumor: next Assassin's Creed is set in Victorian London, pictures
According to sources from Kotaku, Victory will come in 2015 and will be the first AC developed by studio Ubisoft Quebec, which could bring a breath of fresh air to the series. Will again be a game dedicated solely to the new console and PC as a Unity, but they will be joined by a second title for old-gen consoles: in late 2015 there will be only one Assassin's Creed and will be solely for the new console.
Kotaku explains that he had seen a video of "target gameplay", i.e. a gameplay rendered in real-time that should represent the ultimate goal of the developers, and that this was entirely produced using the same version of Anvil engine used in AC: Unity. The video begins with a murderer, probably the protagonist, that scale a tower and watch the entire skyline of the city of London. The camera then runs between the lanes of the city showing some of the possible secondary activities in the game (playing in pubs, competitions between carriages and so on), after which his gaze back on Earth killer who jumps, climbs on a carriage and accepts an assignment from a mysterious masked woman. The objective to kill a man named Roderick Bulmer, who leads a girls trafficking on behalf of the Templars. " The Templars shall receive our message ," says the woman. " Mandaglielo in the blood ."
The carriage is then suddenly attacked and the murderer comes out to confront a group of enemies that bear the insignia of the Knights Templar. Following a hectic fight on the roof of a chaise, which leads the killer to Charing Cross Station; the protagonist then enters his trading station Cap with a hat. Mingles so among the crowd heading towards Bulmer, stopped in the middle of a railway platform. The murderer then jumps on a platform above the trains, makes out a guard and uses a sort of looped rope to swing up to Bulmer and stab him in the chest. Concluded its task, the killer jumps on a runaway train and fight other Knights Templar as the train crosses a bridge over the Thames, then jump from the train on sheaf of hay while the camera moves away in an overview of London, and finally shows the logo for Assassin's Creed: Victory .
Kotaku explains that, as seen, the game seems to introduce some new elements: the fights on moving vehicles and looped the rope drag/grappling hook, created by the protagonist to create new avenues of escape or reach high spots from which to kill his victims. Something that will change the way you play and you browse settings.
