Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon proved a pleasant surprise last year, a stand-alone spin-off with the very solid core of Far Cry 3 . Something similar could happen with Farcry 4 , but whether that will happen Ubisoft wants is something amazing.

The Creative Director Alex Hutchinson responded encouragingly to a question about the Red Bull website about a new spin off Blood Dragon style, explaining that Ubisoft is currently discussing, but that if decided to once again offer a stand-alone spin-off, could never be in the same style of Blood Dragon . " The goal would be to surprise, so there could be a new Blood Dragon " continued Hutchinson "but hopefully in something different, strange and sinister ".

It therefore seems that Ubisoft is considering a spin-off of Farcry 4 , given the incredible success of Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon that just two months after its launch it had sold about 500,000 copies. Stay tuned to find out more.
