Although Resident Evil: Revelations 2 will follow in the footsteps of previous episode proposing a gameplay more oriented towards survival horror game, Capcom revealed that the plot of the new game will have no link with the story of the first Revelations. As we know, Claire Redfield will be accompanied throughout the story to Moira Burton, 20-year-old girl and the daughter of a member of S.T.A.R.S. Barry Burton, and the two characters can be used through a cooperative mode. Today we learn that the cooperative mode can be played offline only.

The producers argue that more news on the game and new enemies called the "Afflicted", will arrive soon.
