New details on Resident Evil Revelations 2; will see the return of Claire Redfield

In the last few hours have emerged new details on Resident Evil: Revelations 2 , thanks to an article published by the British magazine Gamesmaster Magazine. Article explains that the new title of Capcom, coming out in 2015 on Xbox Xbox 360 and and PS4, will follow in the footsteps of previous episode proposing a gameplay more survival horror-oriented than the main titles of the series.

The producer of the game, Michiteru Okabe says that with the title you want to listen to fans releasing a title in line with their expectations, but that there will also be a few surprises, something " new and uplifting for the Resident Evil series ".

We discover that the game will see the presence of Claire Redfield, Chris Redfield's younger sister for the first time appeared in Resident Evil 2, as main character: the magazine explains that, since the last time I have seen, Claire has become an experienced veteran. Chris's sister will be accompanied throughout the story to Moira Burton, the daughter of a member of S.T.A.R.S. Barry Burton; the game will be playable in co-op, in which case it will be controlled by Moira second player. While Claire will have a more central role in action, Moira will be tasked with keeping her alive by providing it with medical herbs or helping in other ways.

The story takes place in an abandoned prison located on an island, and will start with the two protagonists who wake up after having been kidnapped. Not much is known of who or why they have taken on the island, but the events of the game take place between the fifth and the sixth installment of the main series. As for enemies, the game we will present a new type of threat called the "Afflicted", similar to zombies but actually several classic undead: these can be very fast and also extremely powerful, capable of inflicting major damage to the defending player. It's up to us to decide whether meet openly or adopt stealth tactics to put them out of the game or run away to avoid them and save ammunition.

We leave you with a series of scans from the magazine in question, that show us some pictures of the game.
