As we reported previously, Bungie announced that Destiny server will be open only from the day of launch, on September 9, as soon as this date will arrive from somewhere in the world. This led us to hypothesize that the servers were open to 9 in New Zealand's 00:00, corresponding to the 14:00 of 8 September from us.

Now it is no longer a hypothesis: Activision has officially confirmed that the servers will open the 8 to 14:00, so if in any way you can get the game a few days before the launch, you know when you can start playing!
