Activision has just announced that the Beta of Destiny has been a great success: with 4,638,937 unique players that are linked throughout the Beta period, became the greatest Beta ever made for a new IP. Bungie also added that the aid received by users during the Beta was valuable and will further enhance the title until 9 September launch.

With a similar number of players who tested Bungie servers, we can be confident of the fact that the title will not have any particular problems at launch, provided of course the developer works hard to solve connection problems and lag that many users have reported. But after all, a beta serves precisely this.
