EA promises higher quality for their games, defers Dragon Age and Battlefield: Hardline

The CEO of Electronic Arts Andrew Wilson today announced- via Kotaku -EA will change radically the production procedures of his studies to make sure the games arrive on the market with the highest quality levels. Among these changes there is a deeper testing conducted at all stages from development deòòp the beginning, to make sure that everything proceeds as planned and that the various titles comply with initial ambitions.

If that doesn't happen, Wilson explained that the company will be more inclined to postpone the release of its titles to give more time for developers to refine them and improve them.

And this brings us to two other announcements today: the postponement of Dragon Age: Inquisition and Battlefield: Hardline . BioWare's RPG was so far waited for 9 October, but developers have now announced a shift of more than a month with the new release date set for November 21. This additional time will serve to refine the title and make sure it reaches the level of quality you expect.

Regarding Battlefield: Hardline , on the other hand, the title of Visceral Games slips directly to first quarter date still to be determined: Karl Magnus Troedsson says explained in a post on the official website of the franchise that analyzing the data from the beta of the game developers have started to think of different ways to improve the title, but this requires more development time. It was decided to postpone the game to allow the team to introduce more multiplayer gameplay innovations, increase the depth of the single-player campaign and make the game more stable while minimizing the problems at launch.

It seems, therefore, that after the bad experience with Battlefield 4, EA has decided to change policy and give more importance to the quality of the games rather than the dates out, although this would mean leaving for a few months free rein to competition. Now we have to wait for the release of the most anticipated games and find out if all this will actually increase the quality of our fun.
