The official Facebook page of Batman: Arkham Knight revealed new details and background information regarding certain aspects of narrative game currently under development by the guys at Rocksteady Studios.

As we knew, the bat-man's new enemy in the game is the one that gives the name to the game, the mysterious "Arkham Knight" who wears a suit very similar to that of Batman: we find out now that he is determined to defeat the protagonist using a massive army, his private militia. The villain will use this army to isolate completely crazy in Gotham City's criminal plan called "Operation Savior" ( Salvatore Operation ), paralizzandola and putting it under curfew. This is the main reason that the Dark Knight will get on the trail of the new enemy.

The Gotham police, captained once again by Commissioner Gordon, will be powerless before such a threat and should put all hope in Batman, which is the only currently capable of effectively coping with armoured vehicles and military equipment of the enemies found in abundance along all the roads of the town.

These events and provide a narrative justification the fact that the game will be completely subject to a Gotham criminals and with police practically absent, leaving the field entirely free to Batman.

In a month that's right, during the Gamescom in Cologne, will we finally be able to experience in person the game: come back to us for more information and our first impressions!
