Bioware presents today a new character in the world of Dragon Age: Inquisition called Solas. This elven Mage has a unique relationship with Fade (metaphysical realm that is part of the continent South of Thedas) and his knowledge will be critical in fighting his forces. Here's the official description from Dragon Age:

"Solas is raised in a small country , Although he spent most of his life alone in the wilderness away from the net's fellow living in cities.  He learned its magic without the help tutor , spending years exploring the realm of the spirit of the Fade and coming to an understanding of its inhabitants, that few others can boast of telling. Saleh would be very happy to be left alone to sleep in ancient ruins in search of memories and knowledge have been lost, but the breach opened in the sky surrounding worldwide threat.

In this particular moment, where other magicians are fleeing into hiding , Saleh has staked his freedom emerging from darkness to help those who want to fight chaos. He did not he'll be watching when his knowledge of the arcane it could mean the difference between Salvation and destruction total . "

The factor that makes the whole thing more interesting is that Solas is an elven Mage and has ties with the Kingdom of the spirit . Since the story of the game is focused on the violation of the Fade and the real world , has an enormous significance to have a team of this caliber with his knowledge.

Dragon Age: Inquisition is expected for all platforms on 7 October .
