Bioware released a trio of new images with the purpose to introduce another character that will be part of the cast of Dragon Age: Inquisition . It is not clear at the time if he will be an integral part of our team or meet him just during the story. What we don't know is whether Cole will be a member of his party or not. The following description from developer stresses which could be an ally, but does not specify whether we will have the opportunity to enlist him or less among the party members. We present here the description of the character:

Cole is a ghost in the shadows, walking undisturbed through the crowd. It is able to cut his throat at an enemy before they are aware of his presence, and then leave without being seen. Those few who manage to see it, they forget that it's also only ever existed ... and Cole isn't sure exist. Is a spirit, which lies between the immaterial realm of Fade and the reality of our physical world, but this makes it real? Makes it human, or some kind of demon, as some believe?  Everything that Cole knows for sure is that the world is full of pain, and he must find his place there. Those who are hoping to restore order and help the needy will find in him a strange but unwavering ally. Those who use their powers for selfish reasons might not see Cole never again, provided, however, that you remember at least he was there.
