Earlier this year, a source had stated to Gamespot that the publisher Electronic Arts had reached an agreement with Respawn Entertainment to produce a sequel to Titanfall . Followed another report that spoke of cross-platform sequel. However they are facts, a sequel to Titanfall would not be a surprise given the success from the first episode. However, a source close to the development of the hypothetical second episode would now stated at The Wall Street Journal that Titanfall 2 is in the planning stages but that the game will no longer be an exclusive to the Microsoft console.

EA obviously refused to comment on what is reported by The Wall Street Journal; However, the facts are important to achieve the result of one of the most played titles this year. Nothing precludes that official information arrive during E3.
