Questioned on Twitter by a user, the Director of BioWare Montreal Yanick Roy said that the development of the next Mass Effect is about half way through: since the work on the game were initiated at the end of 2013, this means that we may see it in stores at the end of 2015.

For now very little is known of title: we know that it is in development on the engine 2 and Frosbite engine already playable , but we have no clues about the plot or its temporal location than the first Trilogy: hopefully at E3 EA and BioWare will finally reveal it publicly.
