Watch Dogs: Ubisoft explains the reason for the delay, new gameplay

When Ubisoft announced the postponement of Watch Dogs , explained that it was to give more time to the team to improve the game, without going into further details. Today the producer Dominic Guay explained to Polygon that as they approached the expected date of November, the game began to take shape, all elements are fitted between them and the developers realized by various problems, the first of which was excessive repetition.

Guay explained that both the possibility of interaction with the AI that the different people's reactions to our hacking attempts began to become too repetitive after a few hours of play, and the team knew it had to add more variants, more possibilities and a greater number of possible reactions to make the whole thing seem repetitive and not fake. Another problem were the low probability of finding an IA hackerabile: in the game was set a 30% chance that a mission there were hackerabili AI, but this created the problem you could do 3-4 following missions without finding even one of them. It was decided then to take action to better balance this aspect.

The producer ch14, additional time was used to create a better game, much more varied and realistic, where each person with whom we have to do prove to have a unique identity, different from the other. And we hope that it is really so: we can't wait to try it for sincerare us.

We leave you with a video clip showing a series of sequences of gameplay: the game seems rather graphically scaled than initially shown at E3 2012, but we'll leave judging yourself. The version shown should be the PS4.
