Batman Arkham Knight: avalanche of information from Game Informer, first pictures

The new issue of us magazine Game Informer has a long and detailed article on Batman: Arkham Knight , open-world title under development at Rocksteady Studios released on Xbox One by the end of 2014. Here is an article in which you will find all the details published on the magazine, followed by the first images and cover art of the game in high definition.

Firstly, it is underlined that for the development team, the title must be in the eyes of the players a whole new something than seen in previous episodes of the series. There will be a new "bad" from face and Rocksteady says that this will be the last proof that Batman will face.

As mentioned yesterday, one of the novelties that we will find in the game is the ability to drive the famous man's bat means: the Batmobile. The special car will be fitted with missiles that will destroy most of the objects on the scenario.

The car can literally destroy everything you touch, so if you come across other cars, they will be tossed into the air. The developers state that the medium is virtually unstoppable. The Batmobile will even as a kind of rocket thrusters that allow higher speeds than normal, jump ramps and rooftops and run all sorts of interesting manoeuvre. The Batmobile will be called at any time of the adventure to move faster in the streets. The developers mention the huge environments that will be the backdrop to the story; Gotham City is, apparently, even five times larger than AC. Will be divided into three areas. The developers anticipate that there will be no loading times to switch from one location to another and you will be able to enter the buildings.

The magnitude of the scenarios may have been another reason to implement the use of the Batmobile that can, however, be useful in the planning of certain tactics to defeat the enemies.
The magazine carries an example: when we spotted the enemies within a building, we might decide to swoop within catapultandoci the latter out of the Batmobile in a glide super fast breaking the entire window of the building and making out all enemies. Breaking an enormous stained-glass window will be very well represented graphically, as reported by Game Informer.

Apparently, the Batmobile will also serve to resolve some of the Riddler challenges: for example, at one point of the adventure we have to activate the walls and ramps. When you activate the first, you will disable the second; We must understand the correct sequence. In this regard, the developers have yet to delve into the gameplay.

Batman will be equipped with new moves and will have the opportunity to kill an enemy using flying every gadget in his possession. You can "chain" the killings in such a way as to bring out an enemy and go immediately to the next. In practice, the action will slow allowing Batman to aim a henchman after another. However, you can use such a move only if the enemies are close to each other and have noticed the presence of Batman.

Regarding the plot of the game, this will start after the Joker's death when all criminals have decided to work together to destroy Batman. The article confirms the important presence of the scarecrow. Also present are two sides Penguin and Harley Quinn, and other villains. The magazine mentions that Arkham Knight isn't just the name of the game but also the name of a [nuovo] villain. With respect to Oracle, this will have a more important role than in the past, we will be able to visit the base and talk to this character.

Fans will be pleased to know that all previous voice actors will be present this time; We speak of course at the time of the American version of the game which will see Kevin Conroy once again give the voice of Batman.

Passing instead, look and feel, this title promises great improvements. Remember that Batman: Arkham Knight will arrive on next-generation consoles then it is clear that the expectations of the fans are several in relation to this aspect of the game. The developers state that each model will be taken care of down to the smallest details as well as the settings that will be presenting details manicured. The gameplay should be fluid even when there will be large amounts of character on the screen, it is called ben 50 characters present at the same time. Reassuring developers that each character will react and move realistically, as well as the protagonist and his coat that ondeggerĂ  perfectly based on Batman's movements and changes of the wind. The faces of the characters will present any ripples of the face during disloghi.

Confirmed the presence of the rain which obviously wet the locations and the Batman costume. Even the nuovole will move realistically based on the good and bad weather. In short, developers promise an unbelievable atmosphere.

Rocksteady stresses that Batman: Arkham Knight is a title designed for single player; so no multiplayer mode.

At the moment the information ends here, but please stay tuned for others that surely will be released in the coming days.

We leave you to images and to the cover of the game.
