Infinity Ward and Activision have announced Onlsaught , the new DLC for Call of Duty: Ghosts of which we were already aware through a poster at GameStop. The package contains four new maps, the Maverick and a new episode of co-op campaign: here's all the details and a video that we view the contents.

These are the four incoming maps:

• Fog : a map of medium size, set along the banks of a mire. Each area of "Fog" is an homage to classic horror films, with a spooky woodland camp, intermittent TV, a torture chamber and apparently abandoned structures, where players will attempt to uncover the dark secrets of the map. If a player finds and completes a specific mission directive, will become the embodiment of evil and will take on the appearance of one of the most iconic character in horror cinema, Michael Myers. In addition, the audio in the vicinity will become known and disturbing theme Halloween music, other players have to run away to save his own life.
  
• BayView : a map to combat takes place on a California coast promenade with souvenir shops and an aquarium, which will offer players of high adrenaline style match run-and-gun. • Containment : transports players into a Mexican village devastated by war, where the battle takes place between the banks of the dry river bed. Inspired by "Scrapyard" – the most popular multiplayer map from fans of Call of Duty ®: Modern Warfare ® 2 , reinvented with dynamic game elements – "Ignition" promises intense action both above and below the ground, abandoned warehouses, the trenches of flames and a huge launch pad. As if the missiles that they crash around the map were not bad enough, the combat is further complicated by two test centres for the rocket engines that both sides can activate, producing huge blazes in the already intense firefights. The bankruptcy of a missile launch will have a dramatic effect on combat.

Maverick rifle is " a double assault rifle or precision that players can choose how to use as necessary tactics – great news for Call of Duty.
