After the unofficial information that we provided this morning , Microsoft has now officially announced what are the main changes introduced by the upgrade of Ryse: Son of Rome published tonight, though without going into all the details.

First update introduces two new events that can happen accidentally during the co-op games in the Colosseum: the first is an enemy tower which may appear and bersagliarci with a shower of arrows until you destroy. The second regards the statues of Roman gods of which we told you in the previous news, useful to retrieve health or fury.

It was also confirmed the arrival on the Games Store in a new package of content, called Colosseum Pack and free for Season Pass holders or can be downloaded at 3,99$. The pack introduces two new arenas, Henges and Ascension , and two new costumes for our Gladiators. Henge sees us attack an ancient temple in the heart of a barbarian forest, while Ascension we literally emerge from hell while we are way into the Kingdom of Hades to return on the ground. The two costumes are one of Commodus, the son of Nero, and the armor of a Roman centurion.
