According to what stated by Yuji Abe, Director and Manager of the gameplay of Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII , the game will last about 50 hours. Specifically, Abe explained that the plot will develop in about 13 days and every day will last more or less 3 hours real which would lead to a total of about 40 hours but due to the presence of numerous dialogues and the various possibilities of character customization will span about 50 hours. Lightning: Final Fantasy XIII is expected on shelves in February 2014.
