SAYS shows the adjustments that will be made to Battlefield following the beta 4

After that fans have played the open beta of Battlefield 4 and released their feedback regarding what they tried, SAYS has published a list of adjustments to be made to the title. We list them here reminding you that the game will be available on the current console on one of the new generation.


Episodes where we crashed to the initial loading screen

  • Found problems that did not allow users to join the match remained stuck at the loading screen, although this problem occurred mostly on PC. It is working to complete resolution of these problems.

Controller Configuration

  • Increase the configurable options on consoles, including new layouts and configuration options that we hope you will feel at home. If you're more comfortable with Battlefield 3 settings then just go into the menu and select the layout "Legacy" which will be very similar to the settings of the previous episode.

Empty Server list

  • On the Server Browser you may have noticed many empty server, simply modify search filters to find populated server. If you can also select "quick game" that will allow quick access to a game.

Catapult effect in elevators

  • It is clear that the elevator was not thought of as a catapult. The problem was in the elevator button code, the problem will be fixed with the launch of the title.

Game balancing

  • You are balancing how much better the game and will continue to do so even after the launch of Battlefield 4. Below is a brief list of changes that include the launch of the game.

Infantry:

    • Will be improved responsiveness sound notification when receiving damage. There have been cases that the sound is not in sync with what was happening on the field by creating a certain delay in responsiveness of the player.
    • Reduced the rate of fire of AK12 Burst mode from 1000 rpm to 750rpm. The rate of fire was too fast in relation to the recoil of the weapon, this made it more powerful than it should be.
    • Reduced and balanced the accuracy of automatic weapons based on the frequency of fire. This for all automatic weapons so that the weapons with a low rate of fire may also be competitive.
    • Increased the range of launch of medipacks and ammo pack to ensure that it is easier to help your teammates.
    • The ammo pack now charging two projectiles simultaneously loaders that can get to four if you stay in the same range. Grenades, RPG and other explosives do not benefit from instant recharge ammo pack.
    • Increased visibility of the blaze of weapons with bullets from 25 mm and 40 mm so they are more visible.
    • Fixed not sync between the animation of stabbing and the actual killing of the enemy.
    • The time to find a downed comrade was changed from 7 seconds to 10.

Weapons with target acquisition:

    • RPG7 and SMAW can no longer acquire a target engaged with the Laser Designator. It is now reported correctly when incoming projectile is shot after being hooked by a Laser Designator.
    • Reduced the distance of attachment of RPG, SMAW and MBT LAW from 500 m to 350 m. This will give the possibility to the IGLA was the appropriate weapon against aircraft, thus maintaining the usefulness of the Laser Designator.
    • The missiles launched by a Laser Designator will do damage of 90% and not more than 100% against the attack and scout helicopters. In this way, the pilots will be able to use the fire extinguisher flame as a countermeasure to a Laser Designator.

General changes:

  • The report of the killing appears faster making the UI more effective in notify a killing.
  • Assisted aim was balanced to make it effective on all distances. Earlier it was too precise on short-range and not very long. Now you will be prompted to more skill in short-range while assisting aims will be a bit more invasive on medium and long haul.
