Square Enix has released new details about Lightning: Final Fantasy XIII , title in the Fabula Nova Crystallis series released on 14 February. The developer has stated that we will have the opportunity to lead to the extinction of the different races of monsters in the game. In practice, the creatures are not infinite in number and at a time when we will fight and we will kill the last of a breed, this will die out. Obviously the huge game world will not be easy to find all creatures belong to a same breed and, in addition, the last one will be the strongest of the species to which it belongs and, once defeated, will release rare items.

The longevity of the title stands at between 20 and 30 hours, however you can get to 50 hours and more if we decide to complete quests or hunt down the monsters to bring them to extinction.

The title will also have the Hard Mode that you will unlock once you complete the campaign.
