Speaking at the Citi Global Technology Conference, the head of Xbox marketing Yusef Mehdi confirmed that Xbox 360 will be supported until 2016, and then move the whole development on Xbox One.

Mehdi wanted to answer some questions about how this development will continue for another three years and how Microsoft intends to do so: "we intend to continue to invest in the Xbox 360, the day when you will have problems with the console we will continue to give you support. We saw our Xbox Live subscription service continue to grow, we reached the quota of 48 million users worldwide. If you think the Xbox 360 platform, is expected to a lifetime of 7-8 years, and we are reaching 10 years and is an amazing thing.
