For each game a frame rate of 60 frames per second would be the ideal conditions to enjoy a very fluid gaming experience, especially in the frenetic titles as the shooter and racing games. Unfortunately this is not always attainable, as explained by Julian Gerighty, Creative Director at Ubisoft, which explained the inability to go beyond the 30 fps in their racing game
The Crew : "
we never reached the 60 frames per second. We have always aimed to turn the game permanently to 30 fps. Unfortunately, nowadays, some computers suffer from overheating, which leads to a drop in frame rate. It is a hardware issue, not software.
He concluded: Gerighty " In a game so vast and with an online industry so rich, the 60 fps is simply an unrealistic goal. 30 fps is quite excellent, and represent what we are concentrating . "
We can verify the words of Ubisoft only at the launch of The Crew , expected in stores in 2014.
