Square Enix has released a series of new information about Lightning: Final Fantasy XIII , the new episode of the series coming in February 2014. The most important information is its revelation of a fourth continent called Wildlands: it is an extremely vast natural area and explore freely, in which we will also be able to ride the Chocobos. According to preliminary information, should not be available immediately but we will find out in the course of the adventure.

As regards the other continents featured in the game instead, was specified as each one of these will have different gameplay from each other: e.g. Luxerion, the capital, the gameplay is mainly because we get detective on the trail of a murderer, while Dead Dunes there will be plenty of exploring ancient ruins.

Square then explained that, once completed the main story, there is still much to do and explore in the game world, so the experience not only history will dry up. The game will have one final, since it will mark the end of the Lightning saga.
