Ryse: a few details about the fighting in final game

One of the things he did discuss more fans and the press about the exclusive Xbox One Ryse: Son of Rome are fighting, that the demo shown at E3 they seemed too scripted and simple, with lots of Quick Time Events. The developers say, however, that the final game will not happen: the demo had been simplified to allow only those who had never played in master from your title.

Talking to the Website Siliconera, Crytek producer Michael Read explained that, while in the demo a couple of enough shots to go immediately to QTE executions, in the final game it will take much more. The fights will be carried out in a manner similar to those of Rocksteady's Batman, with the ability to switch between the various enemies by hitting them and parrying their shots: depending on the difficulty of the enemies will be needed a lot more shots to bring them to the status of "executing", when you trigger the QTE.

But the most important information is right on the QTE, taking place in a different way from what seen so far: the screen will appear the keys to press, but we have to understand ourselves based on moves that our character is making: depending on whether these moves succeed or not, we understand you have right or wrong buttons. This means that we will have to learn over time how to execute to perfection the executions, which are numerous, over 100, so you will master them all complex. Mistaking a QTE will not, however, the failure of performance: this will be done anyway, but in a more clumsy and then handing us the least points. Siliconera compares this mechanism to the fatalities of Mortal Kombat, when we had to learn how to make them without the game gives us some suggestions on. Michael Read says that probably we will see a flourishing of YouTube videos where users will explain the best way to carry out the various executions.

We hope to be able to say more about Ryse: Son of Rome during the GamesCom in a month, when we will try again in a robe-we hope-closest to the final game.
